"The 100" - Season 5

Take a look at new footage, plus images from Season 5 of  the Vancouver-lensed, post-apocalyptic science fiction drama TV series "The 100", based on the book by Kass Morgan, airing in 2019 on The CW:


The series follows post apocalypse survivors, including 'Clarke Griffin' (Eliza Taylor), 'Bellamy Blake' (Bob Morley), 'Octavia Blake' (Marie Avgeropoulos), 'Jasper Jordan' (Devon Bostick), 'Monty Green' (Christopher Larkin), 'Raven Reyes' (Lindsey Morgan), 'Finn Collins' (Thomas McDonell), 'John Murphy' (Richard Harmon) and 'Wells Jaha' (Eli Goree).


They are among the first people from space habitat 'The Ark', to return to Earth after a nuclear apocalypse. The series also focuses on 'Dr. Abby Griffin' (Paige Turco), 'Marcus Kane' (Henry Ian Cusick) and 'Thelonious Jaha' (Isaiah Washington).


"For four seasons, 'The 100' have fought to survive. That fight has torn them apart, turned them against each other, and taken the lives of their closest friends. 'Season Four' introduced The 100 to the harsh truth that the human race is doomed to face an unbeatable enemy: the remaining nuclear reactors on Earth have melted down and are setting the atmosphere on fire.


"The 100 had very little time to prepare for the worst, with every possible solution disappearing almost as quickly as they were able to come up with them. With a literal countdown to the end of the world, The 100 will be forced to go to unimaginable lengths to make it out alive – with or without each other.

"Krypton" - 'Brainiac' Revealed

Take a look at the newest version of the 1950's DC Comics' supervillain 'Brainiac' (Blake Ritson) from the upcoming live-action superhero TV series "Krypton", debuting March 21, 2018 on Syfy:


"He traverses the universe in a gigantic 'skull ship'", said Ritson about 'Brainiac', "ripping cities out of planets, miniaturizing them and placing them on board. 


"But he does so in the spirit of conservation...like 'Noah' plucking out two of every animal to ensure their survival, even while knowing that others must perish."


Created by writer Otto Binder (of "Adam Link" fame), 'Brainiac' debuted in "Action Comics" #242, July 1958.

In storylines involving time travel and cloning, variations of Brainiac depict him as a green-skinned alien android from the planet 'Colu'...


...capable of manipulating computer systems, exerting control over time and responsible for shrinking 'Kandor'...


..the bottled, surviving capital city of Superman's destroyed home planet 'Krypton'.
