Take a look @ leaked images of Ryan Reynolds as 'the Merc with a Mouth' from the set of director David Leitch's "Deadpool 2", also starring Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, Stefan Kapičić, Josh Brolin, Zazie Beetz, Jack Kesy, and Shioli Kutsuna:

April 6, 2016 actor Ryan Reynolds officially signed on for the sequel. 

Josh Brolin plays 'Cable' in the new film, along with Marvel Comics characters 'Neena Thurman'/Domino', 'Colossus', 'Dopiner' and 'Negasonic Teenage Warhead'.

The first "Deadpool" feature follows former 'Special Forces' operative turned mercenary, cheap prankster... 

'Wade Wilson', who after being subjected to a rogue experiment acquires accelerated healing powers, then adopts the alter ego 'Deadpool'.

Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Actress Zazie Beetz ("Atlanta") plays the "X-Force" mutant 'Domino' in the new film.

'Domino' aka 'Neena Thurman', created by writer Fabian Nicieza and co-writer/illustrator Rob Liefeld, debuted in Marvel Comics'"X-Force" (Vol. 1) #11 (June 1992).

In addition to her marksmanship and hand-to-hand skills, Domino possesses mutant powers and has been the lover of 'Cable', the mutant son of former 'X-Men' leader 'Cyclops'.

"Domino has the ability to subconsciously and psionically initiate random telekinetic acts that affect probability in her favor by making improbable (but not impossible) things occur within her line of sight...

"...thus causing her to have 'good luck' and her opponents to have 'bad luck'. 

"This 'probability field' phenomenon can be anything from an enemy's equipment failure to hitting just the right switch with a stray shot to shut down an overloading nuclear reactor. 

"But the full extent of her powers is still unknown..."

The upcoming Season Four premiere episode of "The Flash", will be titled "The Flash Reborn", featuring the return of actress Britne Oldford as the teleporting 'meta-human' character 'Peek-a-Boo':

'Peek-a-Boo aka 'Lashawn Baez' was created by writer Geoff Johns and illustrator Scott Kolins for DC Comics, debuting in "Flash" #180, (January 2002).

"...her powers include the abilty to teleport by breaking down her molecular structure and then re-assembling her body elsewhere, possibly by unconsciously entangling her molecules with molecules local to her destination. 

"Also whenever someone touches her, she teleports a short distance away, making her difficult to capture.

"Peek-a-Boo's teleportation powers can also create dangerous implosions at their exit point..."

Take a look @ actress Juliana Harkavy ("The Walking Dead") as 'Dina Drake' aka costumed female vigilante 'Black Canary', as she appears in "Arrow" - Season 6, debuting October 2017 on The CW:

"She needs something tactical," said "Arrow" executive producer Wendy Mericle, about the look of Black Canary in Season 6.

"She has this 'meta power', but she also has the 'bo staff', so we just felt it was right for her to have something that was definitely more than a nod to the 'DCU' character...

...but also something that was distinctive from what we’ve seen before. 

"This really fits the bill. My favorite part is actually the subtle hint of the gold and yellow lines..."

Black Canary' was created by writer Robert Kanigher and illustrator Carmine Infantino, debuting in "Flash Comics" #86 (August 1947).

One of DC's earliest super-heroines, Black Canary has appeared in many of the company's flagship team-up titles...

...including "Justice Society of America" and "Justice League of America".

Since the late 1960's, the character has frequently been paired with archer superhero 'Green Arrow' professionally and romantically.

Season 4 of "The Flash", debuting October 4, 2017 on The CW, will introduce more DC Comics characters including 'The Elongated Man' (Hartley Sawyer), 'The Thinker' (Neil Sandilands), 'The Mechanic' (Kim Engelbrecht), 'Breacher' (Danny Trejo) and a whole lot more:

'The Elongated Man', aka 'Ralph Dibny' debuted in DC Comics'"The Flash" Vol. 1, #112 (May 12, 1960), created by writer John Broome and penciler Carmine Infantino, as a detective who loves odd mysteries.

As a teenager, Dibny was fascinated by contortionists, discovering that body-benders drank a soda derived from the 'gingo' fruit of the Yucatan. Creating his own drink, he gained elasticity powers, similar to 'Plastic Man' and 'Mr. Fantastic', aka 'Reed Richards' from Marvel's "Fantastic Four".

'The Thinker', aka 'Clifford DeVoe' debuted in DC's "All-Flash" #12, created by Gardner Fox and E.E. Hibbard, as a failed lawyer who bitterly ended his career. Realizing that many of the criminals he had encountered had the skills but not the brains to rule the 'Gotham City' underworld, he started a new career as their leader.

As the Thinker, he sought new scientific devices to use including the 'Thinking Cap', a metal hat that could project mental force.

'The Machanic', aka 'Thomas "Pieface" Kalmaku', created by John Broome and Gil Kane, debuted in "Green Lantern" Vol. 2, #2 (Oct. 1960)...

...as a young 'Inuit' mechanic at 'Ferris Aircraft'.

'Breacher', aka 'Quell Mordeth' was exposed to inter-dimensional energies., forcing him to live within a special suit. He can teleport between dimensions and bring others with him.

Season 4 of "The Flash" will showcase the live-action debut of DC Comic's metahuman 'Rebecca Sharpe' aka 'Hazard', played by actress Sugar Lyn Beard:

"...'Rebecca Sharpe' perpetually down-on her luck, is convinced her life is cursed... 

"...until a freak accident changes everything.

"With the universe on her side, she poses a threat to both 'Team Flash' and 'Central City'."

Created by Roy Thomas, debuting in DC Comics'"Infinity Inc." #34, Hazard has 'psionic' powers she uses in conjunction with special dice to influence probability.

She can cause good luck or harmful 'accidents' to befall someone. The origin of her powers, nature of her dice, and the relationship between them are unknown. In addition, she keeps herself in good physical condition.

According to "Arrow" producer Mark Guggenheim, DC Comics' femme fatale the 'Huntress', played by Jessica De Gouw, will return for the next season of "Arrow", currently shooting in Vancouver:

"I want to say, ‘Absolutely'," said Guggenheim about the return of the female vigilante.

"Jessica De Gouw has expressed an absolute willingness to come back. Jessica’s a favorite actor of mine, and the 'Huntress' is a favorite character of mine. 

"I want to make it happen in Season 6. We’ve got some plans for the later half of the year that I think she will fit into really well..."

'Helena Rosa Bertinelli', daughter of a 'Gotham' crime boss...

...became the violent and unpredictable 'Huntress' after her family is killed.

According to the VPD, a female stunt performer, filming a motorcycle sequence was killed in downtown Vancouver, during the shooting of Deapool 2", in what seems to be a weekly death toll for stunt performers, following the death of a professional stuntman last month on the set of "The Walking Dead":

The incident is being investigated by the Vancouver Police Dept and 'WorkSafeBC'. The British Columbia Coroner’s Service is also investigating.

"We have opened an investigation", said a spokesman. "We have a mandate to prevent future deaths..."

According to eyewitnesses, the crew was filming the woman riding the motorcycle at high speed down a set of stairs at the 'Vancouver Convention Centre', stopping at the street. On the last attempt, she crossed the street and swerved to avoid pedestrians, losing control and crashing through a building window at the 'Shaw Tower' near 'Jack Poole Plaza' in Vancouver.

Apparently the ambulance turned its lights and siren off when life-support for the performer failed...

The Fox sequel "Deadpool 2" is now back in production, as of August 16, 2017, 2 days after stunt driver Joi Harris died in her first on-camera stunt, riding a motorcycle in downtown Vancouver:

Harris had performed the stunt successfully several times in rehearsal. But reportedly was not given a helmet to wear during shooting.

"A coroner attended the scene and an investigation is underway with The Vancouver Police Department and WorkSafeBC which is also investigating this incident," said the The British Colombia Coroners office.

"We tragically lost a member of our crew while filming 'Deadpool'," said actor Ryan Reynolds.

"We're heartbroken, shocked and devastated, but recognize that nothing can come close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment. My heart pours out to them -- along with each and every person she touched in this world..."

"Deadpool 2" is still scheduled for a June 1, 2018 release.

The 'superhero' genre has never been more popular than it is now, especially in Vancouver, the film production home of "Deadpool",  "Arrow", "Supergirl". "Flash", "Legends of Tomorrow" and the first home of Bill Bixby's "The Incredible Hulk", as well as 'Wolverine' from the original "X-Men" movies and 'Superman' in "Man Of Steel":

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to actually have 'mutant' powers, like 'Wolverine'...

...with an ability to heal extremely quickly ?

Or if a person had the super human strength of 'Hulk', it could be useful around the house to help clean under heavy objects. 

Think about how easy this would be if you are moving. 

'Superman' has x-ray vision which lets him see through objects. This could be an invaluable power to have when playing poker at a casino. 

You would be able to see what cards your opponents are holding and make informed decisions with this information.

If you’re holding a pair of 5's but see your opponent has a pair of 8's you may want to play accordingly...

... although if you play at an online casino such as gamblinginsider.ca then you’ll have to make your own decisions even with x-ray vision.
