Actor Grant Gustin aka 'Barry Allen'/'The Flash" has confirmed the title of the first Season 3 episode of the series, premiering October 6, 2016 on The CW:
Gustin has revealed the title as "Flashpoint".
"Flashpoint" was also the title of an 'alternate timeline' event series published by DC Comics (2011) leading into DC's 'New 52' relaunch.
The event series was also adapted into the animated feature, "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" (2013).
While 'Arrow' (Stephen Amell) previously appeared on "The Flash", more DC Comics characters are anticipated to guest-star in the new season including 'Supergirl' (Melissa Benoist) and 'Superman' (Tyler Hoechlin).
