Developed by writer/producers Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns, the pilot will air on The CW, based on the DC Comics character "The Flash" aka 'Barry Allen', a costumed crime-fighter created by Robert Kanigher, John Broome and Carmine Infantino.
The potential series is a spin-off of "Arrow", existing in the same TV universe.
The pilot is written by Berlanti, Kreisberg and Johns, and directed by David Nutter.
